The BAÑULS range of catamarans started with a 60ft design promoted as the MC²60 built by McConaghy. Two boats were built. The concept was then extended to smaller and larger models to offer the BAÑULS 53 and BAÑULS 78.

The BAÑULS are semi custom high performance luxury catamaran that set new standards of speed, luxury and elegance.

The boat was born from the vision of designing an elegant, sleek looking, high performance cruising catamaran. Speed was the key component of the design brief and therefore the BAÑULS 53-60-78 are lightweight catamarans built in high-tech composites.

This is not just a fast cat but a luxury cat, which represents the next generation of composite, high-performance sailing catamarans.

The BAÑULS 60 #1 is permanently based in Hong Kong, redefining speed as the real luxury on a sailing catamaran. The BAÑULS 60 #2 is currently sailing in the Mediterranean sea.

The term "high-performance catamaran" is frequently overused. Many supposedly fast cats or performance catamarans are in reality too heavy to sail fast, as weight is the enemy onboard a multihull. At just 7.5tons for the BAÑULS 53 and 9.3 tons displacement for the Bañuls 60, they are light catamarans substantially lighter than other 50-60 ft cruising catamarans, which makes them fast catamarans even in light wind conditions and upwind.

Displaying an open space minimalist design without sacrificing comfort, the BAÑULS Catamarans are luxury catamarans fitted with four cabins in the standard design. In order to accommodate individual needs, these innovative fast cruising catamarans are offered on a semi custom basis.
